Description
Mom and baby alligator in the wild at Everglades National Park in Florida. The baby is on the back of the large alligator. This photo was taken just off the main road that runs through the park just south of the Ernest F Coe Visitor center.
A big thank you to the National Park employees who worked without pay during the US government shut down. I would have missed this incredible photo if the park would have been closed.
